WEBSTER COUNTY, KY - The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is planning several cross drain replacement projects that will require highway closures in Webster County next week.
The work will require 3 closures over about 3 days.
On Monday, Aug 2, 2010, the Webster County Highway Maintenance Crew plans to close KY 370 near the 1 mile marker. This is near the KY 370 intersection with B. D. Luck Road and Branson Road in Webster Co. This is about a mile north of the Webster-Hopkins County line.
On Tuesday, Aug 3, 2010, plans call for the closure of KY 1405 at mile point 0.5. This is near the Texas Gas plant between KY 138 and Slaughters-Elmwood Road.
On Wednesday, Aug 4, 2010, plans call for KY 283 to be closed at mile point 7.48. This is about a half mile south of the Henderson/Webster County line in the Groves Creek area.
Work at each of these locations is expected to take approximately one day and traffic will be restored upon completion of work at the end of each day.
Motorists are asked take note of these planned closures and make advance alternate travel plans as appropriate.
All work at these sites is expected to be completed by Friday August 6, 2010, weather permitting. In case of rain or an emergency that requires the immediate attention of highway personnel elsewhere, work at these sites will automatically advance to the next working day until the work is complete.
